THIS IS A PROPOSAL TO PUT A LARGE, TWO PENTHOUSE, GLASS BOX ABOVE THE MAIN CENTRAL ROOF OF THE OLD MARKET LISTED BUILDING.

The aspects attracting most comment are those related to its exceedingly modern insertion - both onto the building and within the Brunswick Town Conservation Area. The Application's presentation is as good as could be in making a justification for that approach - backed by a 'threat' that not giving Consent would lead to the closure of the Arts activities for financial reasons. No future financial forecasts are given and no alternatives are given. However the present or future financial aspects are a distraction from the acceptability of the design, even if you enjoy Musical Coffee Mornings at the venue.

The Drawings are massive and do not download well onto A4. The Design and Access Statement contains everything that most people would wish to know / see. The first 21 pages are main text and the second 21 pages, Appendix A ,are examples to sustain the argument that misfits can fit! Note too that some of the drawings are missing.
